	AION PVA Roller is a porous material in the form of roller, used for draining or moisture transfer in various manufacturing processes. Having all basic characteristics of PVA sponge---excellent water absorbing and retaining properties, soft hand, and resilience---, AION PVA Roller contributes to the streamlining of processes, energy saving and improvement of working environment.
Today, high quality tools or devices with cleanness of their own materials, or with high dimension accuracy are increasingly needed in the industrial fields including semiconductor manufacturing. AION PVA Roller meets such needs by its special high cleanness grade and articles with special dimensional tolerance.
Features
Has superb hydrophilicity, showing remarkably high water absorbing and retaining properties by its continuous micropores. Is soft and resilient, giving no damages to the workpiece. Fitting closely in the surface irregularities of the workpiece, causes no uneven absorption. The integral structure of the sponge generates no lint or wastes as seen in paper or fibrous materials. High tensile strength generates no crumblings.
Main Uses
Scrubbing and dehydration of plate, curved and other glass products. Scrubbing and dehydration of precision electronic devices such as LCD substratis, printed circuit boards, lead frames, photomasks, etc. Scrubbing and dehydration of plastic films or plates. Dehydration of tires or mats. Absorption and dehydration of the surfaces of packed or retort pouch foods, or glass bottles. Coating of various water-soluble adhesives, antistatic agents, paints, etc.

• With their soft and resilient cylindrical protuberances, they efficiently remove minute particles on the scrubbed surfaces. Needless to say, they never damage the surfaces of workpiece.
• Sufficient scrubbing effect is obtained with the use of clean water only. Consumption of expensive cleaning fluid or chemical fluid is, therefore, reduced, allowing environment load by waste water to be lowered.
• A combination of a highly porous structure and an ideal protuberance disposition design eliminates uneven scrubbing and ensures draining routes of contaminated matters and cleaning water, realizing a very high level scrubbing effect.
• Thanks to cleanness-oriented design and production by dedicated production lines, recontamination by the scrubbing materials is avoided. • The integral structure of the sponge makes it lint-free. No lint or wastes are generated during use.
• Hydrophilic property and the capillarity generated by the integral structure with continuous pores combined, it absorbs water quickly and voluminously.
• Micropores on its surface make a very large effective surface area allowing it to perform efficient dust trapping.

1. Hydrophilic porous material with continuous open pores
   With the excellent water absorbent and retentive properties inherent in PVA sponge-a hydrophilic porous materials with continuous open pores- AION Be-Fine instantly absorbs and retains water of about the same volume as itself.
2. Soft Hand
   As AION BE-Fine has an extreme soft hand never seen before and excels in recovery from compression, it can be used for absorbing and scrubbing uses without a threat of damaging workpieces it contacts.

Standard Roller Sizes

• Blocks / sheets - The standard size is 480 X 270 X 24mm. (Thickness can be varied by the millimeter.)
• Other processed products - Sofrous can be processed into any shape by cutting, punching or grinding. Please inform us of the shapes and sizes you desire.

               Chemical Resistance

• Evaluation made after 24 hour immersion in the relevant chemical under a room temperature.
• The products are affected differently depending upon the conditions of use. Be sure to conduct a preliminary test before going into full-scale operation.

Clean Room Sponge Mop
 

	AION Clean Room Sponge, a material of superb dust collecting and water absorbing properties, was made into a thin and lightweight mop to further develop its functions. It sweeps a large area at one stroke with the same ease as an ordinary mop. Its excellent cleaning property is best suited to the maintenance of clean room or other floors.
Features
Being light and thin, it handles easily. Mounting and dismounting of sponge is done easily by a one-touch binder mechanism. With its ability to absorb water instantly, it is highly effective in floor cleanings by water. By the excellent dust collecting ability, it traps particles without fail. No generation of wastes or lints makes is an ideal mop for use in clean rooms. Washable and reusable properties make it very economical.
